ok its done. another year of architecture school. one and half to go.
starting to upload all the product from the final review of our community centre project.. this is the shot from dundas facing south, on the right of the picture is the intersection of bathurst and dundas.

latest render of the project at night time..gymansium truss box spanning two shear wall buildings essentially acting as columns. the pool in the back skewers both buildings. they are clad in a parametric brick system built in grasshopper that rotates to maximize sunlight based on interior programs (i.e. reading spaces vs computer classrooms).
the whole lighting system of the project is detailed for this render, including type of luminaires and sources. there is a combination of wall grazing (LEDs), downlighting from the floor of the gymansium (LEDs), the gym itself (metal halides) and the theatre space to the left of the gym (hanging par MR16 halogens)
two weeks till the final presentation… lets go!
